Autoplay

Autoplay keeps the music going when your queue runs dry by automatically queuing tracks related to what was just playing.

When the queue empties, Autoplay looks at the last played track and picks a strategy based on its source:

Source How related tracks are found Tracks added
Spotify Uses up to 5 recent Spotify tracks from history as recommendation seeds. Requires at least 2 Spotify tracks in history. Up to 5
YouTube / YouTube Music Builds a YouTube “Mix” radio playlist from the track’s video ID. Up to 5
JioSaavn Fetches JioSaavn’s recommendation for the track. 1
Other sources (SoundCloud, Deezer, direct URLs, local files, …) Not supported — no recommendations are generated. 0

The just-played track is excluded from the results, and Autoplay-added tracks are tagged internally so they can be distinguished from user requests.

  • Run /autoplay (alias /ap) to toggle it on or off.
  • Requires an active player, that you are in the bot’s voice channel, and DJ permission when DJ mode is enabled. A Top.gg vote may be required if voting is configured.
  • Refills add up to 5 tracks at a time (only 1 for JioSaavn).
  • Track history is capped at 25 previous tracks, which is what Spotify seeding draws from.
  • The setting lives on the active session — it resets when the player is destroyed (the bot leaves or is disconnected) and is not persisted between sessions.
